Andrew Patton

Senior Marketing Manager

A life long music fan, Toronto native Andrew Patton quickly realized, after finishing University, that if he had to actually work for a living it had better involve his one true love...music. After spending the next 3 years working at a national music retail chain, Andrew made the switch to record label when he joined the sales department at Universal Music Canada in 1999. From sales he moved over to promotions, working closely with Ontario radio stations for the next several years. And for the last 3 years Andrew has worked in the Marketing department for the Universal/Island/Def Jam division - responsible for the Canadian releases of such domestic artists as Sam Roberts, Diana Krall, and Hedley, as well as such international acts as U2, Jay-Z, Elton John, Garth Brooks. There's no such thing as a favourite or preferred genre for Andrew...good music is just good music.
